No blog yesterday, no cute photos or videos of Alex. Apparently, my laptop has figured out that its replacement has been ordered, and has vowed to make me regret it (not ordering sooner, that is). All day, I struggled with intermittent internet, until realizing only at a late hour that I could get a good connection if I plugged a cable directly into my computer and the router. So, don’t trip over the wires if you come visit.
My next workhorse is the Dell XPS M1530. What I really wanted was an Alienware laptop, especially for its backlit keyboard and alien logo on the lid…it would make me the hippest Mom this year.
Speaking of aliens, we’ve been watching Buck Rogers episodes on Netflix. It’s just amazing how all the aliens are just like humans! Well, since we’re the end result of evolution, that only makes sense. Dawkins, don’t strike me down with a lightning bolt.
